The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Alexander Mann-Wahrenberg. Manisha : Once upon a time I was a Business Analyst in a world of waterfall and I fought to speak to developers to "Collaborate" on solutions. My manager never approved but I found myself sneaking to the other side of the building to speak with the development team. Later a Knight joined the organization and a group of us converted to Agile. Since then I'm proud to use the Agile principles at work and in my life.
