We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Ponvinayagan Krishnasamy: Hi, From the customers perspective who are undergoing critical competition in the global market the change to the business model need to happen frequently and swiftly and in-turn the software which enables the business must also do. To implement this from the customer and business perspective this methodology is more convenient and meeting the businees requirements from the vendor. But the vendor would really suffer if this methodology is not followed with 100% complaince and just the points which are more convenient for the customers and business. Regards Vinay

I've used this way of developing software with Genexus for DOS (way back then) and even though I didn't have a name for it, it was very well received by customers, specially when several customers used the same software product.

Caroline Raj: Agile approach makes a lot of sense in this results-driven IT market. All of us in some way or the other have always yearned for a better angelic alternative to the traditional ways that IT projects are managed. And scrum is the answer to this search. Agile approach improves interpersonal interactions in the team & leads to sharing the commitment to achieve the end-result. Though being agile takes away the "Tada" moment, it gives way to lots of "Thank goodness we noted this" moments during the course of sprints. I strongly support this Agile manifesto. Sensible work folks :-)

Mark Fogg: (Mercury Algorithm) Agile works. PMI + Agile is worthwhile and harder, because it conveys the long term strategic interests of business to IT especially well.
Neil Killick: (neilkillick.com) The word "Agile" is used to mean lots of things nowadays. Scrum, continuous improvement/delivery, TDD, vertical slice user stories, cross-functional teams, daily standups, retrospectives, Kanban walls, etc. While all of these are valuable methods to use when building something, by themselves they do not represent Agile. Sometimes we need to step back and remember the underlying principles of why we want to be agile, and the Agile Manifesto is the place to do this.
