Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Christoffer Lette: The most dramatic effect in the development process I have ever seen in my career was when we started to let the customer move stories around on our project wall in order to set priorities. There and then, all the principles of this manifesto came into play, and good results soon followed!
Wynford Rees: (6dVision) couldn't agree more
Michael latta: (TechnoMage) The bottom line is to contribute value to the endeavor through software, that both works now and in the future. Static designs, plans, or methods, are less able to do this than people working together.
Andrew Spencer: (Border Crossings) The Agile Manifesto and Principles are as valuable today as they were ten years ago. They embody three great qualities: (1) Pragmatism, by maximising business value and minimising unnecessary work. (2) A constructive approach. (3) Humanity, by putting each member of the team in charge of his or her own destiny.
