Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

MAHARAJA, B.E., PMP: (NetExpert Technologies Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, India) As a IT Infrastructure Project Manager, I like the Agile Philosophy, the Agile principles and practices as a technique for successfully managing projects.
Praveen Katragadda: I along with my team has been using Agile for more than a year since the start of the project. I could really see the difference in product delivery, adopting to the changes and crystal clear view quality and deliverable. This is because of Agile. The team output and commitment has improved a lot. One thing is team members have increased but on one changed or quit which made us to be on track continuously. Agile really rocks. In this present day world to adopt to the continuous changes and deliver the right product at the right time, Agile is best method I could recommend to anyone.

Oscar Galvis: (Gensolve) We have been using agile methodologies along with JIRA for the last 8 months, with great results, I truly believe this is how nowadays most of the software should be written.

We can spend months analyzing every pebble and ditch on the hill trying to decide on a path, or we can immediately start up that hill and take it in a week. Agile practices, and Scrum specifically, is what gives us the ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome our impediments to ultimately conquer that hill while others stand there looking up at it.

Byron Zizos: There is a time and place for everything and a software development environment is neither the time nor the place for command and control approaches given this is the type of work that relies exclusively on the intellect and creativity of an individual. My experience as a software developer, systems analyst, and project manager has only been successful when command and control barriers of roles, responsibilities, authorities, and escalations, as such, are deemed illogical and irrelevant during collaborative efforts of amazing individuals towards a common goal of completing the work at hand. In my experience it is the only way any work ever gets done. I am committing significant personal time and resources supporting the Agile and Scrum methods to software development.
