Rob Vietmeyer: (DISA) Having been involved with many large IT systems acquisitions in the DoD that had a heavy focus on standard processes, comprehensive documentation, detailed requirements specifications, detailed planning, and significant contract overhead; I can't wait to help US DoD's transition to agile. We're seeing massive failures and cost overruns with traditional acquisition programs, while agile project are returning tremendous value.
